Businesses, homes and traffic lights are without power surrounding Lancaster Township's Manor Shopping Center after an outage Monday morning.

PPL reports more than 650 customers are experiencing an outage in the area including the businesses in the shopping center and several blocks of residences surrounding them. The center is home to businesses like Regal Cinemas 16, Weis Market, Big Lots and Guitar Center.

Manheim Township police said the outage is mundane, but did not provide further details immediately. The Millersville Pike and Schoolhouse Road traffic lights southwest of the center are out with stop signs set up in the intersection.

The School District of Lancaster said Lafayette and Smith-Wade-El elementary schools, which surround the center, are opening on a two-hour delay due to the power outages.

The power is scheduled to be restored by noon, according to PPL's website. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is a breaking news story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
