An early-morning fire heavily damaged an apartment building near Lititz on Sunday, according to emergency officials.

The blaze started in the pre-dawn hours at an apartment block on Creekside Lane in Warwick Township, and crews "arrived to find an out-of-control building fire with flames coming out of the roof," according to a notice from the Northern Lancaster County Regional Police Department.

Two people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to ABC27.

Photos from the scene posted to social media show much of the building gutted by flames, and portions of the upper stories completely burnt away.

Fire marshals from the Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, and a cause has yet to be determined, according to Lancaster County police.
