Protestors march down Front Street in Harrisburg to demand ceasefire, end to Pa. anti-BDS law

Protestors shut down Front Street in Harrisburg for over an hour Sunday afternoon, marching from the Governor's Residence to the state Capitol to demand a halt of U.S. military aid to Israel and for Pennsylvania to end its law that prevents contractors from financially protesting the Israeli state.

The march — which numbered about 300 people at its peak — came on the eve of the one-year anniversary of an attack into Israel by Hamas, a militant group based in the Palestinian territory of Gaza . The subsequent retaliation by the Israeli military has killed tens of thousands of civilians in Gaza, and the conflict has now spread into neighboring Lebanon.
