Rachel Ryan, 34, cherished for her love of family and life
Rachel Rose Ryan was born on May 15, 1990, in Racine to Rodney and Jill (Wickman) Ryan. A 2008 William Horlick High School graduate, Rachel was known for her vivacious spirit and caring heart.
Passions and pastimesRachel's love for life was evident in her many passions. She enjoyed drives to the beach and spent hours listening and dancing to music from various genres. Her enthusiasm for movies, especially the Chucky and Leprechaun series, was unmatched, as she never tired of re-watching them. She also shared a special bond with her dogs, who brought her great joy and companionship.
Cherished family momentsRachel treasured her time with family and was especially devoted to her nephew and niece. She embraced her role as a loving and attentive aunt and found happiness in family gatherings and cherished moments spent together.
Survived by loved onesShe is survived by her parents, Rodney and Jill; grandmothers Rosalie Wickman and Judith Ryan; her partner, Hermes Perez; brothers Jeremy (Roberta) Wickman and Robert "Robbie" (Ashley) Ryan; and uncles Jeffrey (Pam) Wickman, Michael Wickman, and Richard Ryan. She also leaves behind her beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Remembering those who preceded herRachel was preceded in death by her twin sister, Rebecca Lee Ryan; maternal grandfather, Thane "Bud" Wickman; paternal grandfather, Thomas Ryan; and uncle, Randall "Randy" Ryan.
Funeral arrangementsFuneral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Purath-Strand Funeral Home at 3915 Douglas Ave., Racine. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
Rachel's life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
