Rail repairs to close Springfield road all week

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A detour will be in place all week to allow crews time to repair railroad tracks through Springfield. The City of Springfield shared a pos t to notify residents that North Bechtle Avenue will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 18. The road will be closed at the rail tracks near Perry Street for repairs. Eight train cars derail in Cincinnati A detour will be in place using US-41. The city asks residents to plan accordingly and follow posted signs along the detour route. The road is expected to reopen Friday, Nov. 22. The railroad that crosses N.
