EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) — About 200 people met at Bosse field for the third annual River City Wiffle Ball Classic supporting the organization, Aurora.

It's a group to find permanent housing solutions for the homeless in the community.

Participants are picking up bats and swinging for the fences for change.

Money raised is going toward ensuring the social workers make the best impact possible for the hundreds facing homelessness.

Aurora believes it raised around 40 thousand dollars Saturday. Eyewitness News has been told they are planning on hosting a 4th classic next year. Aurora invites anyone who is interested to come participate and sponsor.
