Now through the end of November, Garrett Williamson is collecting pumpkins and gourds.
Only clean pumpkins and gourds will be accepted.
Pumpkins and gourds that have paint, glitter, glue, or stickers won't be accepted. They must not have been treated with bleach or in plastic bags.
Pumpkins and gourds can be dropped off from dawn to dusk at the Garrett Williamson tennis courts. To get to the tennis courts, follow the signs from the right from Bishop Road into the gravel parking lot.
Last year, Garrett Williamson composted 6,500 pounds of pumpkins together. The finished compost produced from manure, plant waste, food waste, and these pumpkins is then applied to our growing spaces to support our agricultural education.
