Richard Vega Carbajal OBITUARY
Richard Carbajal, known as Pops and Grandpa, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of passion, strength, and love. Born to Manuel Carbajal and Eufemia Vega in Miami, AZ, Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. A Korean War veteran, Richard served on the USS DeKalb County. He was a tireless provider, often working multiple jobs to support his family. He found great joy at the swap meet, engaging with people and sharing stories. His humor and ability to connect with others made him a beloved figure in the community. Even after retiring, he stayed active with the US Census Bureau and Walmart in Tulare. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings Pilar, Pedro, John, Anna, Petra, and Irene, and sons Richard and George, he leaves behind his wife Elpidia, children Maria, Guadalupe, Rigoberto, Rachel, and Reina, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and siblings Isaac and Billie. Richard's legacy of hard work, dedication, and humor will be remembered by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Richard. Your memory will forever be cherished.
