Robert Irwin, Bindi Irwin Husband Video Takes Off Online—'Scared Me'

Robert Irwin, son of the late Steve Irwin, gave his fans a big fright in a social media skit alongside his brother-in-law, Chandler Powell.

Irwin, 20, is following in the footsteps of his dad who was known as "The Crocodile Hunter," and was a passionate conservationist and animal lover.

Along with his sister and mom, Bindi and Terri Irwin, he helps run the Australia Zoo in northern Australia. Another person who helps them there and their conservation efforts is Bindi's husband, Chandler Powell.

It seems that Powell not only helps with the family's environmental work, he is also an accomplice in Irwin's social media pranks.

The latest video posted to Instagram showed Powell sitting on the ground by the lake on a sunny day, and as he reclined on to the grass and put his hat over his face, he said, "beautiful day."

But his peace was shattered when out of nowhere something leaped out of the water as Led Zeppelin's, "Immigrant Song," played over the video. It was quickly revealed that the mystery figure emerging from the water was in fact, Irwin, armed with water pistols and pointing them towards Powell.

The video then changed to slow motion as Irwin ran out of the water towards Campbell, but the latter was prepared and when Irwin got closer, he put up an umbrella to stop the water attack. It stopped Irwin in his tracks and Campbell turned to the camera, saying "he does this a lot."

Irwin captioned the post, "Expect the unexpected." It has received over 1 million views.

But many of his 6.1 million followers did not expect to see a human emerging from the water, but rather one of the many dangerous animals that live in Australia, especially crocodiles.

"An Irwin is honestly the BEST case scenario for something jumping out of the water and attacking you in Australia," wrote singer in the comments.

"I was waiting for a croc!" commented added, "I literally jumped out of my chair... it scared me."

Bindi also gave her stamp of approval writing, "The BEST."

It is not the first time Irwin has scared his fans with his social media videos and earlier this week got up and close with one of Australia's most venomous snakes.

"Well talk about an unassuming snake. This, believe it or not, is one of Australia's most dangerous snakes and one of the most venomous snakes on Earth," Irwin said in the video as he crawled on the ground towards the snake.

"This is a death adder, the toxicity in their venom is absolutely incredible and the speed of their strike is pretty much unrivaled—they are truly an absolute weapon, but one of the chillest snakes you'll ever see. This is a big one, a beautiful big death adder and he's just crossing the road."
