Savannah rapper Quando Rondo pleads not guilty in July 2023 DUI case

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – On Thursday, Savannah rapper Tyquian Bowman, also known by the stage name Quando Rondo, entered a plea of not guilty in Chatham County State Court on charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving.

Those charges are from an incident that occurred on July 19, 2023. Bowman was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs. On Feb. 6 of this year, he was arrested by Savannah Police officers for the incident.

Bowman will be in court a month from now for a pretrial meeting on this matter that is scheduled for Oct. 23.

The rapper is also facing separate federal charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribution of controlled substances. He has entered a plea of not guilty in that case.

Bowman's next hearing in federal court will be on Dec. 12. If found guilty, he faces a sentence of up to five years in prison for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute marijuana.
