School marching bands play for joy at Band Spectacular in Morgantown
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WBOY) — Eight high school and middle school bands were at Pony Lewis Field on Saturday for the Morgantown High School Band Spectacular.
The following bands performed on the field to bleachers filled with their friends and family with ticket and concession sales going to the Morgantown High School Marching Band.

East Fairmont
The mood was celebratory and joyful, with bands rocking the stadium with songs like "September" by Earth, Wind, and Fire and "Come Together" by the Beatles. In between performances the intercom would announce "Airgram" shout outs from friends and families to their performing student.
Violins of Hope holds presentation at Morgantown High School
Morgantown High did their 2024 show Harmony of Soul, featuring "What Is Hip" by Tower Of Power, "I'll Be There" by the Jackson 5, and "Don't You Worry About a Thing" by Stevie Wonder.
The Morgantown High Band Director Lorne Hyskelle explained to 12 News that the set list was "all about the way that we seek affirmation in our lives" with "What is Hip" about trying to keep up to date, "I'll be there" being about reassurance, and "Don't You Worry About a Thing" being about keeping a positive mindset.
