Semi-truck flips in field after driver falls asleep: OSHP
HURON COUNTY, Ohio (WJW) – The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a semi driver fell asleep at the wheel before crashing in Huron County.
In a press release, OSHP reports that troopers responded to State Route 4 in Lyme Township Wednesday night around 10:30 p.m.

Troopers say the driver of a Peterbilt car hauler was headed northbound on SR-4 when he fell asleep and drove off the right side of the roadway.
The semi-truck hit a utility pole and overturned in a field.
The driver, who was cited for failure to control, was wearing his seatbelt and sustained minor injuries, troopers say.
The crash shut down part of SR-4, while crews were dispatched to repair the utility pole.

Investigators say drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash.
