Several fire departments assist in RV fire

GORDONVILLE, Texas (KXII) - According to the Whitesboro fire department, several agencies responded to a RV fire Saturday, September 21 at Thousand Trails in Gordonville, Texas just north of Whitesboro.

An Ultrasport RV set fire due to what's believed to be an electrical issue. This fire was fully involved but contained within one area, thanks to Whitesboro fire and EMS, the Sherwood Shores and Gordonville volunteer fire departments.

The front of the RV was the only portion that kept its original cream color as all other portions were burned and caved into itself.

The true cause is still under investigation but believed to be an electrical issue.

The inhabitant left the RV at the first smell of smoke and was not injured.
