SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — A Sioux City man is accused of robbing a Pump 'N Pak in Sergeant Bluff and using a stolen vehicle to drive away.

According to court documents, Richard Martinez, 29, was arrested Sunday and charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree theft. He allegedly displayed part of a gun to the cashier and asked for all the bills.

A police officer was dispatched to the Pump 'N Pak at 200 1st Street at about 2:39 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 23. There, he spoke with the cashier, who described the appearance and clothing of the suspect.

Security video reportedly showed a white pickup driving near the gas station. After standing around the front for several minutes with a cell phone in hand, the suspect then went into the store, walked through the aisles, and went up to the cashier at about 2:36 p.m., court documents say.

The suspect then allegedly showed his right hand holding something in the way one might hold a handgun. He spoke to the cashier, and the cashier then gave him money.
