Son stabs, kills father in Pa. home: police

Police are saying a Pittsburgh man stabbed and killed his father on Monday afternoon.

Christopher Hudak, 28, has been charged with criminal homicide, according to a report from WTAE .

Police said they responded to a report of a domestic incident in the Overbrook neighborhood a little before 3 p.m.

Upon arrival, they found a 64-year-old man, later identified as James Hudak, with severe chest lacerations to his chest, according to WPXI . He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Christopher Hudak, who lives in the residence, was taken to a hospital for an injury to his hand.

"I knew these people for a long time," neighbor Jerry Berberich told WPXI. "They worked on their cars and stuff together. I've never seen them having any problems. I thought they got along good. I can't believe what happened. I've known him [the son] since he was a kid, a little kid."
