Sports Director David Lyden talks Detroit Lions heading to Houston

Kicking off this Sunday at 8:20 PM EST your Detroit Lions will head to NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas to take on the Houston Texans. Although the Texans are 6 - 3 and in a different division, a loss here could threaten Detroit's current standing at the top of the NFC North.

After a 5-1 start to the season, the Texans has dropped 2 games out of their last 3 and are looking for redemption, but they shouldn't expect it to come from the Lions who are on a 6 game winning streak.

The big strong suit for the Texans is the pass protection, which ranks in the middle for the NFL this year. But the Lions showed last week they are equally as dangerous on the ground as they are in the air and if this Sunday the Lions can keep to that formula they should be walking away 8-1 which that team has not accomplished since the 1954 season.
