JACKSON, Miss. ( WJTV ) – College football returns to Mississippi for the 2024 season! The Sports Zone team has special coverage ahead of this week's games.

The Sports Zone Saturday show will air from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on WJTV 12 News and on WREG.

No. 19 Ole Miss will be on the road to face Arkansas on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 11:00 a.m. CT on ESPN.

Mississippi State will face UMass for the Bulldogs' Homecoming game on Saturday. The game will kickoff at 3:15 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.

Southern Miss will be on a bye week.

Jackson State will face UAPB for the Tigers' Homecoming game. The game will kickoff at 2:00 p.m. CT on ESPN+.

Alcorn State will be on the road to face Alabama State University. The game will kickoff at 4:00 p.m. CT on ESPN+.
