Springfield Park District invites community to ‘master plan’ public hearing

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — The Springfield Park District is asking the public to share their opinions about what the Park District should focus on in the future.
A public input hearing will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Bunn Administrative Office on 11th Street in Springfield at 5:30 p.m.
New upgrades are coming to Davidson Park in Champaign
The Springfield Park District said this input will help create a "master plan" to make local green spaces better for everyone.
They hope to receive community input on trails, amenities, activities and more.
