Support pediatric healthcare through fashion

The 12th Annual Golisano Children's Hospital Fashion Show is to be held Nov. 12 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs. The event will support Golisano Children's Hospital of Southwest Florida's planned pediatric outpatient surgery center.

"On behalf of the children, families and team at Golisano Children's Hospital, I want to express our gratitude for Pelican Landing, which has supported this event for more than a decade and championed many other needs, along with steadfast fashion show participants and sponsors," said Chief Nursing and Operations Executive for Golisano Children's Hospital Alyssa Bostwick.

Golisano Children's Hospital plans to open an Outpatient Surgery Center adjacent to the main campus. The Surgery Center will provide a calming environment for standard procedures such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, and ear tube placements, freeing up resources for pediatric neurosurgery, trauma cases, fractures and more. The center will help to reduce wait times, increase efficiency, lower costs, and improve access to emergency services.

"Members of the community and community sponsors support the needed additions to pediatric health care in our area, like this surgery center," Bostwick said. "Without you, our ability to meet the needs of the children in this community would not be possible."

On Nov. 12, a silent auction will begin at 10:30 a.m., with the luncheon at 11:45 a.m. and a fashion show at 1 p.m. Fashion from Fort Myers to Naples to be modeled by hospital patients and families, Lee Health leadership and community supporters.

Sponsorship opportunities include $10,000 Presenting Sponsor, $5,000 Gold Runway Sponsor, $2,500 Silver Runway Sponsor and $2,000 Bronze Table Sponsor.
