From Hurricane Ian to Helene and now Milton, the businesses on Fort Myers Beach has seen a lot of destruction and damage over the past few years. They have had to rebuild time and time again, but that's not stopping them from saying "We're open". But our restaurants still need help as they recover.From October 17th to October 27th, multiple restaurants and resorts on Fort Myers Beach are joining forces with Wicked Dolphin Distillery and the charity, FMB Strong. A special cocktail, the Fort Myers Strong, will be available at some of beloved beachside establishments such as Wahoo Willie's, Junkanoo, Snug Harbor, and Fresh Catch Bistro, La Ola & Nervous Nellies, Cabanas at Diamond Head, Tiki Bar Island Oasis, Flippers, The Yucatan & The Lani Kai - to encourage the community to show their support.Fifty percent of the proceeds from each drink sold will be donated to FMB Strong. FMB Strong is dedicated to helping survivors in the 33931 area by providing hot meals, cleaning supplies, mental health resources, and operating a food pantry.Also look for an opportunity for those that are supporting to win a FMB Strong Gift Basket valued over $1000.
