Suspected rock-throwing vandal damages 6 windows at Trump Tower: CPD

CHICAGO — Authorities are searching for the person who damaged several windows at the Trump International Hotel & Tower downtown on Wednesday afternoon.

According to Chicago police, officers were called to the scene around 4:45 p.m. following a report of criminal damage to property at the hotel, located in the 400 block of North Wabash Avenue.

A witness on scene told police that they saw an unknown male throw rocks at the building, damaging six windows. Following the incident, the individual responsible fled the scene, heading northbound along Rush Street.

Currently, it is unclear what prompted the incident and an investigation is now underway.
