Teacher at Laredo’s Piedra Angular Academic Ministry named KGNS’ Teacher of the Month

LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Jorge Gutierrez, a teacher at Piedra Angular Academic Ministry, was surprised by KGNS with the Teacher of the Month award for October.

He's been teaching at the Christian school for nearly 10 years, helping both middle and high school students.

Gutierrez was praised for his dedication to keeping students on the right path. He said his main goal is to help students grow closer to God and learn to love others.

The award, sponsored by the Joey Tellez Law Firm, comes with a $250 gift card and a basket of goodies. You can nominate a deserving teacher here .
