DENVER ( KDVR ) — Lakewood police reported Sunday that a teen is in custody after numerous Safe2Tell reports were received on Saturday regarding a possible bomb threat at Green Mountain High School.

The state has seen a wealth of reports regarding threats to schools during the past few weeks, including at Lakewood schools. One such threat led to an Englewood school campus going on lockdown earlier this month.

FOX31 Newsletters:

According to the Lakewood Police Department, the threat mentioned "not to go to school on Monday unless you wanted to die." The agency reported that threat was received through an anonymous submission to a Google Docs form and made available on an Instagram page that the department said was used by students of Green Mountain High School to "vent."

The Lakewood Police Department, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Adams County Sheriff's Office and the Colorado State Patrol "immediately conducted several searches" of the Green Mountain High School campus and were not able to substantiate a threat.

A juvenile was arrested after Lakewood police officers were able to track down where the message came from. The teen is under investigation for harassment and interference with school – credible threat.
