Teen suspect in Orlando mass shooting to be charged as adult
ORLANDO, Fla. (WFLA) — The teenage suspect accused of opening fire in downtown Orlando during a Halloween celebration will be charged as an adult, State Attorney Andrew Bain announced Monday.
Bain held a news conference to provide an update on the shooting that killed two and wounded several others on Halloween night.

Edgar will be formally charged as an adult when a grand jury convenes, Bain said.
Surveillance camera video shows a man, identified by police as Edgar, pulling out a gun and opening fire into a large crowd gathered in downtown Orlando. Two people were fatally shot, six others were wounded by gunfire and one person was trampled in the chaos.
In response to the shooting, Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer declared a local state of emergency for establishments within the city's downtown entertainment district. It will implement a curfew from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. and end alcohol sales at midnight.
