Temporary road block scheduled for KY 277 in Central City

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – A contractor for the Paducah and Louisville Railway has a maintenance project scheduled for Thursday that will temporarily block KY 277 (West Reservoir Street) in Central City.

The contractor will perform maintenance work on the railroad bridge over KY 277, blocking the roadway between West First Avenue and KY 304 (Front Street). A marked detour will be in place with traffic being diverted to KY 2103 (Center Street) via West First Avenue.

The maintenance work is scheduled to be completed the same day.

An eagled-eyed husband and wife were sailing in Hawaii when they spotted mysterious objects in the distance. Camila and Ryan Sullivan found five scuba divers drifting at sea. They told their rescuers that they were on a diving excursion. When they surfaced, they realized that they drifted away and their dive boat was nowhere to be found. The couple tried to pull them to safety but the sea was too rough. They radioed the U.S. Coast Guard. Twenty minutes later, help finally arrived.

The Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) on Saturday released footage showing an officer's alleged use of excessive force against Lich Vu, a 70-year-old Asian man with bone cancer, during a traffic violation encounter in late October.
