Terrifying scenes as man is allegedly stabbed multiple times by colleague at Crystal Seafood Restaurant, Carlingford

Two Chinese restaurant workers have been rushed to hospital after a violent fight allegedly broke out between the pair at work.

NSW Police attended the Crystal Seafood Restaurant in Carlingford in Sydney 's north-west on Sunday afternoon after reports of an allegedly stabbing inside the venue.

'Police were told two employees had an argument before one man allegedly stabbed the other man multiple times in his head, face and arms,' a police statement read.

A man, 63, suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital for further treatment.

Another man, 46, was arrested at the scene.

He has been taken to hospital under police guard for treatment for a minor inquiry to his head.

Investigators have established a crime scene.

Inquiries into the alleged melee continue.

The restaurant was open for yum cha diners at the time of the incident.

The venue describes itself on its website as Sydney's 'premier Chinese seafood restaurant.
