Texarkana police need help finding missing women

TEXARKANA, Texas ( KTAL/KMSS )—The Texarkana Texas Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing woman.

Police say Diane Rogers left her home in Texarkana earlier today and has not been seen since. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and blue shoes. Rogers was driving a maroon Ford SportTrac with Texas license plate BM15112.

Rogers has been diagnosed with a cognitive disorder; everyone is very concerned for her safety.

The Texarkana Texas Police Department urges anyone with information regarding Diane Roger's location to contact the department immediately at 903-798-3116.

New York City politicians are calling on Whoopi Goldberg to apologize for suggesting on air that a local bakery had declined to make "The View" co-host a batch of desserts for her birthday because of her political beliefs. Boeing has delivered layoff notices to more than 400 members of its professional aerospace labor union, part of thousands of cuts planned as the company struggles to recover from financial and regulatory trouble as well as an eight-week strike by its machinists' union. The pink slips went out last week to members of the Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace, or SPEEA, The Seattle Times reported. Boeing announced in October that it planned to cut 10% of its workforce, about 17,000 jobs, in the coming months.
