The Million-Dollar Las Vegas Grand Prix Hotel & Ticket Package
This one is for my centi-millionaire and billionaire friends (you know who you are). The inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix in 2023 made headlines for offering unprecedented hotel and ticket packages in the seven-figure range. If nothing else, it drew attention to the fact that Vegas represents the most expensive ticket prices on the F1 calendar. Meanwhile, many of the wealthier people I know stayed home to allow Liberty Media and the City of Las Vegas to work out the kinks on this first outing. That proved to be a mistake, as the race was an absolute banger even if the outcome was rather predictable.
We now know that Las Vegas delivers an unparalleled F1 experience. From the on-track action to superb dining, easily navigating the Strip between sessions and seeing some of the best DJs in the world, both during and after the sessions, nothing compares to F1 Vegas. As we prepare for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix , Fontainebleau Las Vegas and Aston Martin have put together an over-the-top experience in the form of the "Aston Martin Million Dollar Package."
For a cool million, you and up to five friends will fly to Vegas on a private jet. You'll be shuttled to the new-for-2024 Fontainebleau Las Vegas in an Aston Martin vehicle for a five-night stay in the resort's Fleur de Lis Chateau three-bedroom suite. The package includes a VIP table in the DJ booth at LIV Las Vegas . My recommendation would be for Thursday night to sit alongside Dom Dolla (seriously, one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet). There is also a $20,000 food and beverage credit. That is in addition to a private dinner for six at ITO, the acclaimed omasake-style restaurant on the resort's top floor. Not to mention another $20K resort credit for whatever else you'd like; memberships to the Poodle Room, the resort's members-only social club; an upgrade to the Royal Tier rewards status and a private buyout of the Lapis Spa & Wellness (to be redeemed at a later date). Of course, you'll be in the Fontainebleau Race Club Suite overlooking the start/finish straight for the race and all of the sessions leading up to it.
Is this all worth a million bucks?
Before you answer, the package also includes a limited-edition 2025 Aston Martin Vanquish , which has a base price of $434,000. According to Car and Driver , "During our initial test drive of the Vanquish, we were wowed by the thrilling acceleration from the magnificent V-12 engine, which is so powerful that it causes lots of wheelspin if you're not careful with the throttle." The story of how you acquired this supercar certainly has value.
Based on what we witnessed in Brazil , the Las Vegas Grand Prix is certain to be an incredible race. We might get to see Max Verstappen win his fourth World Drivers' Championship in a row if he wins the race or just outscores Lando Norris by four points. We might also see McLaren and Ferrari back on top in dry conditions, where both championships continue to Qatar and possibly the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Regardless, the Vegas street circuit and this F1 season (of the century) will yield some of the best racing we've ever seen.
