The Salvation Army of Omaha Benton Bond Jason Coyle Greg Key Dan Svoboda The Salvation Army of Omaha is pleased to announce the addition of several new members to the advisory board. Benton Bond is vice president of law at Union Pacific Railroad. In his role, Bond oversees all aspects of Union Pacific's personal injury litigation, labor, employment and safety law practice across the 23-state network. Bond leads a team of in-house and outside counsel who help protect the interests of the railroad throughout Union Pacific's network. Prior to joining Union Pacific in 2000, Bond was an assistant district attorney for the Harris County District Attorney's Office in Houston, Texas, where he served as a prosecutor in the Trial Bureau for six years. Bond has an undergraduate degree in economics from Colorado College and a J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He and his wife, Stacey, have two college-aged children. Stacey is also a practicing lawyer. Before relocating to Omaha in 2023, Bond and his family resided in Houston. Jason Coyle is the chief audit and risk officer at Mutual of Omaha. He provides leadership over strategic planning and execution of the company's aligned assurance operation. Coyle joined Mutual's internal audit team in April 2013, serving in various roles within IT audit and professional practice. He was promoted to chief internal auditor in January 2017 and served in that role until assuming his current position. Before joining Mutual, Coyle served as chief information officer for a foreign currency investment management firm. Before that, he was vice president of data analytics-coordination and support for BNP Paribas and Bank of the West. Coyle has 24 years auditing experience and 25 years of financial services industry experience. Coyle earned a bachelor's degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a graduate degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. He is a certified internal auditor and certified information systems auditor. Coyle is a member of the Insurance Internal Audit Group, Institute of Internal Auditors and the Information Systems Audit Control Association. Greg Key is CEO and controlling owner of Lueder Construction, where he started working in August 2012 as director of business development. Key is a graduate of Leadership Omaha and Leadership Lincoln. He has been an active Rotarian since 2004 and is the president of Omaha Morning Club. Key has served on numerous community boards: Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce; Omaha West Rotary; Omaha Morning Rotary, Junior Achievement; Associated Builders and Contractors; Lincoln Citizens Police Advisory Council; Leadership Omaha; Leadership Lincoln; Nebraska Independent College Foundation; Nebraska Chamber of Commerce; and Nebraska Diplomats. He was most recently board chair for the Omaha Red Cross. Key also serves on the elder board of Brookside Church. Key lives in Elkhorn with his wife, Sherri. They have three married children and seven grandkids. Dan Svoboda is the chief financial officer of the NP Dodge Co. He provides accounting, finance and partial IT operations leadership to the NP Dodge family of companies. With nearly 20 years of accounting, finance and systems experience, he has worked in various capacities from Fortune 150 to closely held companies and within a variety of industries. Before joining NP Dodge, he served in various leadership capacities at Lindsay Corp. and Cummins Inc., in addition to many years in public accounting. Svoboda has a passion for building high-functioning teams and employing continuous improvement methodologies. He is a certified public accountant and a Lean Six Sigma master black belt. As an Omaha native, he takes great pride in giving back and seeing our community succeed. He lives in Papillion with his wife, Chrissy, and their two children.
