Blackwood said Eric Timko was found guilty of reckless manslaughter in Bolton's death.
According to previous reporting , Bolton was killed in the early morning of Oct. 28, 2021, after Timko's GMC pickup crossed the center line of Schillinger Road and crashed into his vehicle.
The DA's office said the crash happened after Bolton left his house, where his pregnant wife and two young kids were sleeping at 3:30 a.m. to head to work in Pascagoula.
"All loss of innocent life is tragic, but this type of loss is immeasurable," said Mobile County District Attorney Keith Blackwood. "Mr. Bolton was an upstanding citizen, husband, and father who died at the hands of someone who demonstrated no regard for the value of human life."
