The special fundraising evening will support the return of the beloved Bucks County Book Festival in May 2025.

"We had such a tremendous response from the community when we sought feedback on the importance of the Bucks County Book Festival," says Glenda Childs, co-chair of the festival's executive committee. "We heard from so many people who spoke of the importance of literacy and connection and now we need the community's support in order for us to bring this festival back in 2025."

Founded in 2018, the Bucks County Book Festival is a celebration of literature that aims to foster community connections and ignite creativity amongst writers and readers throughout Bucks County and beyond.

While the executive committee is currently in the initial planning stages for next year's event, festival attendees can expect two days of programming that will include diverse authors representing various genres, emerging voices, and local talents.

The festival has also previously welcomed New York Times bestselling authors to the region including Ibram X. Kendi, Anna Quindlen, and Bridgerton series author, Julia Quinn and hopes to continue bringing big names to the festival in 2025.

"We literally cannot hold this festival without the community's support," says Amy Mazzanti, finance chair for the festival. "Every ticket, every donation, every dollar, counts."

The "Taste of Bookfest" fundraising event will feature an evening of bookish raffles, light refreshments, as well as engaging conversations with three distinguished authors:
