John Hubbs

ohn R. “Jack” Hubbs, 64, of Fairview Township, formerly of New Jersey,
died Friday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Gustine, Calif., he was a son of the late Caleb and Evelyn (Dotta)
Hubbs. He was a graduate of California Polytechnic Institute and member of its
alumni association. He was a former president of the Jeffery Bank Note Co.,
Los Angeles, a company which specialized in printing international currency,
and also printed the tickets for the 1984 Olympic Games. He was a president of
American Signature Co., Manhattan, N.Y., and the chief operating officer for
Kappa Graphics, Pittston.
He was a member of the Morris County, New Jersey, Chamber of Commerce, and
the Fall 2001 Executive Leadership Series, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are his wife, the former Randon Fensler; daughters, Cassandra
Rutledge and Alicia Brymner, both of Oakland, Calif.; Tamara Burk, Long
Valley, N.J.; and Tracy, Mountaintop; son, Geoffrey, Oakland; five
grandchildren; and brother, Richard King, Monmouth Lake, Calif.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday from the McCune Funeral Home, 80
S. Mountain Blvd., Mountaintop. Interment will be in the Stairville Cemetery,
Dorrance Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
