CLEVELAND, Ohio - Talk of Trump's election win being in part over the high price of eggs reminded me of the classic anti-drug ad campaign of an egg being fried- 'This is your brain on drugs.'

In the 1987 ad by the Partnership for a Drug-Free America an egg is held up as the viewers brain. The fry pan is pointed to as drugs. The egg is then cracked and fried in the skillet...your brain on drugs.

Reelecting a 34-count felon, sexual assaulter, insurrection instigator President of the United States will not be 'eggs over easy' for America's domestic and foreign policy.

A vote for Trump over high inflation was a vote for Trump tariffs that will lead to higher prices everywhere, not just the grocery store, if the tariffs are enacted.

The vote for Trump was a vote for Putin killing more Ukrainians before moving onto Poland next and whatever else he wants. It was a vote for killing off NATO, the alliance born from the defeat of Hitler, Nazis and fascists, who three Republican Four-Star U.S. Generals said Trump expressed admiration for.

Vote for Trump was a vote against Generals John Kelly, Mattis, Eisenhower, Patton, Bradly, U.S. Grant and George Washington.

Vote for Trump was vote to make the far-right U.S. Supreme Court even more far-right after it granted felon Trump even more immunity for past and future corruption as Commander-in-Chief.

Winning Ballots for Trump are his 'get out of jail free' cards, which is the main reason he was even running, not to make 'America Great Again.' His still pending felony indictments for the Jan. 6 insurrection and Georgia election interference are soon to be dropped. He will not serve any time for his 34 felony convictions for fraud in New York.

Trump's resurgence emphatically established him as 'The Great Communicator', not Ronald Reagan. And the world's 'Greatest Conman'.

High inflation and low voter turnout appear to be the two biggest factors in Trump's victory.

The Biden coalition that won him the 2020 Presidential election over Trump did not turnout for the Harris-Walz ticket. Associated Press reported as of Thursday, 13.2 million fewer ballots had been cast for the Democrat ticket than in 2020. For Republicans and Trump, it was just 1.5 fewer ballots than in 2020.

Vice President Kamala Harris felt at the ballot box the price gouging at the grocery store voters have been feeling every week post Covid, despite the fact that the Biden-Harris administration had established the strongest economy in the world. See it too, my grocery bill is up on average $30 a week.

As impactful as grocery inflation was the inflation of misinformation. U.S. Rep. James Clyburn who launched Biden into the White House, said when talking to young Black men opposed to Kamala Harris he discovered they had been listening to and believing misinformation by non-mainstream news sources.

Voters sources of news have now fragmented well beyond mainstream and even FoxFauxNews which leads to a felon's reelection.

May the 'sore loser' of the 2024 election not be democracy to authoritarianism. Fear it may be.
