The scheduled rally continues the campaign battle between Trump and the Democratic presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, for the key swing state of Pennsylvania.

A Trump campaign statement announcing the Latrobe rally included his staple criticisms of Harris and President Joe Biden.

"The Harris-Biden administration's inflationary policies and disastrous handling of our southern border has devastated Pennsylvania," the campaign statement said. "With prices up over 20 percent and real wages down since Kamala Harris took office, Pennsylvanians are struggling to make ends meet.

"Meanwhile, tens of millions of illegal immigrants have flooded our country on Kamala's watch, worsening already sky-high rent and real estate costs."

Trump's scheduled appearance in Latrobe will follow his Oct. 6 return to the site in Butler County where he survived an assassination attempt in July.

Trump also spoke Aug. 30 at 1st Summit Arena Cambria County War Memorial in downtown Johnstown and Sept. 23 at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.

Harris' campaign in Pennsylvania included a September stop in the Johnstown area, greeting supporters at John Murtha Johnstown-Cambria County Airport and holding a private gathering at the Classic Elements bookstore, gift shop, cafe and wine bar downtown.
