Two men arrested during property check at apartment building in Holyoke

HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – Two men are facing drug charges after being found at a Holyoke apartment building who were allegedly not residents of.

According to the Holyoke Police Department, on Wednesday officers were conducting a property check at 527 S Summer Street, a multi-unit apartment building. Two men, who were allegedly not residents, ran away from police. During a short foot pursuit, officers arrested two 20-year-olds, Jose LopezBruce Bonilla. Police seized a firearm, ammunition, drugs, and cash.

Jose Lopez was charged with the following:

  • Possession of Class B substance

  • Possession Class B Substance w/intent to Distribute

  • Disorderly Conduct

  • Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law

  • Bruce Bonilla was charged with the following:

  • Possession Class A

  • Possession Class A w/intent to Distribute

  • Carrying Firearm w/o a License

  • Ammunition w/o a FID

  • Receiving Stolen Property under $1,200

  • Possession of Firearm in Felony

  • Conspiracy to Violate the Drug Law
