Wanted man caught inside Wysox Mini Mart
Wysox, Pa. — A wanted man with a suspended driving license was found carrying drugs inside a Mini Mart game room.
Police arrested Dereck Chad Baldwin, 45, of Troy, inside the Dandy Mini Mart in the 23000 block of State Route 6, Pennsylvania State Trooper Waylon Smith said.
Police found a baggie of methamphetamine, another of heroin, two loaded hypodermic needles, two clear glass smoking devices, two hypodermic needles, and two metal smoking devices during a search of Baldwin, Smith added.
Baldwin was allegedly involved in a criminal trespassing earlier in the evening. Police said they were given a description of Baldwin's 2009 blue Chevrolet Cobalt after the incident. They learned his license was suspended after running the registration number of the vehicle, according to the complaint.
Baldwin is being charged with possession, use of drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle while privileges are suspended. No bail is listed for Baldwin, who is scheduled to appear before Judge Ryan Edsell at the beginning of December.
