Hallmark's upcoming football-themed romantic comedy, "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story," and Jenna Bush Hager's acting debut are nearly here! On Thursday, Nov. 14, TODAY exclusively revealed the first trailer for the new Hallmark holiday movie, including a look at Jenna's special role. The trailer opens with Jenna on the field at Arrowhead Stadium standing beside a group of Kansas City Chiefs players and the team's mascot, KC Wolf. "Ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to midfield!" she says before we get a glimpse of the love story at the center of the film, which is a collaboration between the network and the NFL. Actor Tyler Hynes' character, Derrick, the Chiefs' director of fan engagement, is then introduced. He meets Hunter King's character, Alana, whose family is devoted to the Chiefs. Alana and her family members learn they are finalists for the team's "Fan of the Year Award" before she bumps into Derrick. As the trailer teases, sparks start to fly between the two. Later on, Alana explains to Derrick the lore behind her family's "lucky Christmas hat," which helps the Chiefs reach the Super Bowl if a family member wears it on Christmas Day. While it seems everyone else can sense the chemistry between the two of them, Alana denies it, pointing out that Derrick is simply doing his job and is required to get to know her. Since Alana needs some more convincing, who better to spread some holiday magic than Donna Kelce, mom of Jason and Travis Kelce? The proud mom also makes an appearance in the movie as the manager of a barbecue restaurant. "Trust me on this one," she says while holding a plate of festive gingerbread cookies. Chiefs Coach Andy Reid makes a cameo as well before the trailer ends. "Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story," which is a part of the network's "Countdown to Christmas" special, premieres on Saturday, Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. ET/ 7 p.m. CT. The film was first announced back in June and Jenna revealed a month later that she landed a role in the flick. She shared the announcement on the July 11 episode of TODAY while wearing a Chiefs jersey and Santa hat. A couple days later, Donna Kelce joined the cast , too, along with Chiefs players guard Trey Smith, wide receiver Mecole Hardman, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and defensive end George Karlaftis. Filming for the production began mid-July, and TODAY.com joined Jenna on location in Kansas City, Missouri, as she shared behind-the-scenes details about the set. "As a little kid, I wanted to be an actress," Jenna told TODAY.com. "My mom actually would drive me to the Dallas Convention Center. And I would try out for musicals. But I can't really sing, or dance, or act. So I never got the role."
