Watch: Justin Herbert throws two TD passes to fuel L.A. Chargers to a big lead

Justin Herbert isn't passing the football as much as he has in the past. But when he does throw, he has usually been very effective.

Herbert threw two touchdown passes in the first half to power the Los Angeles Chargers to a big lead against the Cincinnati Bengals in the first half on Sunday night.

Herbert ended one Chargers' drive with a 29-strike to tight end Will Dissly late in the first quarter to give the Chargers a 7-3 lead.

On the Chargers' following possession, Herbert finished the drive with a 26-yard pass to wide receiver Quentin Johnson.

Herbert's second touchdown pass of the night gave the Chargers a 14-6 lead early in the second quarter. They eventually took a 24-6 lead into the locker room at halftime.
