Slippery Rock earns home playoff game

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (WKBN) — Slippery Rock University football has earned a home playoff game against New Haven in the NCAA Division II Playoffs.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at Milhalik-Thompson Stadium.

Slippery Rock locked up a spot in the playoffs with a win over Bloomsburg 27-7 this past Saturday in the WKBN College Football Game of the Week .

The Rock earned the No. 4 seed in Super Region One after a 9-1 regular season. This is also Slippery Rock's sixth consecutive Division II playoff appearance.

The Rock previously beat New Haven, 22-7 , this past season on Sept. 7.

The winner of the New Haven vs. Slippery Rock matchup will travel to play No. 1 seed Kutztown Nov. 30.
