BANNING, CA — If you have family heirlooms or antiques at home that you've always been curious about in terms of their value, you might find the answers you're looking for next month.

The Edward-Dean Museum in Cherry Valley is hosting its annual What's it Worth on Nov. 15 from 6 to 8 p.m. The event, inspired by the Antique Roadshow, invites Riverside County residents to watch live appraisals of antiques and artifacts by experts of Bonham Skinner.

Tickets are $20 for general admission to merely watch appraisers assess items from both the museum collection and the local community. For $40, you can submit an item for appraisal. Buy tickets here . To submit an item for appraisal, email details and photos to appraisal will be researched ahead of the event and a live presentation of the findings will be given on the night of the event, according to the museum.

If you can't make it on Nov. 15, the museum will host Consignment Day the following day on Nov. 16. Bonhams Skinner experts Stuart Slavid, Robin Starr and jewelry specialist Emily Waterfall will be on hand to offer "drop-in" appraisals for small items such as jewelry or fine china.
