Cole Custer battled back from a Lap 1 flat tire to win Friday's Food City 300 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway.
Custer controlled the final stage and won by 0.896 seconds over Sheldon Creed, who finishes in the runner-up spot once more.
Custer earned the Xfinity Series regular season title with the win and trouble from Justin Allgaier, who was involved in multiple incidents and finished 30th, 10 laps down.
Where did Dale Earnhardt Jr. finish in the NASCAR Xfinity race at Bristol?
Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished seventh in his lone Xfinity Series start this season. Earnhardt battled radio issues throughout the first stage but worked his way into the top 10 where he raced throughout the second half of the event.
Earnhardt indicated before the race that he hadn't signed up for a race in 2025 like had been the custom. But he told the CW Network broadcast postrace that he wants to work on broadcasting with Amazon Prime as his new job in 2025 and come back for more Xfinity Series races in 2026.
