Windy conditions continue: Northeast Ohio’s Wednesday weather forecast

CLEVELAND, Ohio - As the area digs out from yesterday’s winter storm, Wednesday provides a bit of good weather news. According to the National Weather Service’s forecast for tomorrow, highs will be back in the upper 30s as we see some sunshine. Windy conditions are still likely with speeds of anywhere between 10 to 20 mph throughout the day. There’s a slight chance of snow showers Wednesday night with lows dropping into the upper 20s. Thursday will see more sunshine and highs in the upper 40s. Hazardous weather outlook A Lake Effect Snow Warning remains in effect for Cuyahoga County until midnight tonight and for Lake, Geauga and Ashtabula Counties until 7 a.m. tomorrow. Plan for slippery road condtions and blowing snow that may impact the evening commutes. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 p.m. tonight for Lorain, Portage, Summit and Trumbull Counties. Heavier snows should be mostly limited to the northern parts of these four counties with conditions improving in Lorain first and then in the other three counties later this afternoon.
