All Hallows Episcopal Church: The world-renowned Curtis Institute of Music will return to All Hallows Episcopal Church, Wyncote, on Saturday, Sept. 28, with a concert featuring a performance by Isabella Izsa Wu, organist, at 7 p.m. Seats may be reserved online at TicketLeap. Admission is free; donations are encouraged. On-street parking is available adjacent to All Hallows Episcopal Church, 262 Bent Road, Wyncote. Isza Wu currently serves as an assistant organist at Macy's Wanamaker Organ, the largest fully functioning organ in the world, and as the organ scholar at St. Clement's Episcopal Church in Philadelphia.

St. John's United Church of Christ: St. John's UCC holds one in-person service at 10:15 a.m. every Sunday. Note the new fall time change. Choir rehearsal for families begins at 9, followed by Sunday school for all ages from 9:30-10 a.m. Later the service is available on St. John's Facebook page, website, YouTube Channel: youtube.com/stjohnsucclansdalepa and Spotify, search "St. John's UCC Lansdale Sermons." Faith Lutheran Church: Come and check out this "little church with a big heart" at 615 Cowpath Road, Montgomeryville. Worship is in the sanctuary as well as on Zoom at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday. Special Summer Sunday School for 3- to 11-year-olds will take place during the 9:30 a.m. service. Nursery will be provided for the younger children during the 9:30 a.m. service. The Church of the Holy Spirit of Harleysville: The Church of the Holy Spirit of Harleysville (Episcopal), 2871 Barndt Road at the corner of Sumneytown Pike, Upper Salford, hosts Communion services at 8 and 10:15 a.m. The 10:15 a.m. service is also live-streamed on the church website and Facebook page – Church of the Holy Spirit, Harleysville. The children's church school is held at 9 a.m. for preschool through high school classes. The adult forum program, "Thinking About the Bible, Christianity and American Politics," with Pete Enns continues at 9 a.m. on Sept. 22 and 29. On Saturday, Sept. 28, a concert featuring Chelsea Meynig on flute, Nancy Stokking on cello, and Jeffrey Uhlig on piano, will be held at 7 p.m. The program will include music by Haydn, Weber, Liadov, Chaminade and more. Blood drive: Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church is hosting a Red Cross blood drive on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 2 to 7 p.m. It is best to make an appointment, but the Red Cross will take walk-ins if openings occur. Betsy's Book Club: The book club at Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church invites anyone to participate in our next meeting September 25 at Pizza Time Saloon at 5:30 p.m. We will be discussing "Tom Lake" by Ann Patchett and "Crossing The Line" by Kareem Rosser. Hiking ministry: Gwynedd Square Presbyterian Church will hold its next hiking ministry walk on Saturday, September 28, meeting at 8:30 a.m. at the church parking lot, 837 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, and then either driving or carpooling to a walk in Lansdale approximately 2-3 miles in length. Sanctuary United Methodist Church: The church will host its biennial Christmas Bazaar on November 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church, 1346 East Prospect Ave., North Wales. The bazaar will feature a silent auction with a variety of items up for bid, including tickets to the Flyers, massage services, and more. Visitors can enjoy food featuring delicious breakfast and lunch delights. Children can participate in the gingerbread house contest and showcase their own edible masterpieces. Admission to the bazaar is free. All proceeds from the event will benefit local charities.
