SOMERVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - The Somerville Yeguas claimed the 'Baker Highway' Bowl Friday night with a 34-6 win over Snook. It marked Somerville's third consecutive win over their rivals, who are located just 17 miles apart.

Yegua quarterback Ian Teague connected with Keith Crawford for a trio of TD passes with one covering 87 yards, while Colt Holton had a pair of rushing touchdowns for Somerville.

It was 19-0 before Snook got on the scoreboard late in the second quarter on a Brett Withem quarterback keeper from two yards out to make it 19-6, but that was the Bluejays only score on the night.

Both Somerville and Snook have their bye week next Friday and resume district play on October 4th. Somerville will travel to Iola to take on the Bulldogs, while Snook will host Burton at Bluejay Stadium.
