  • Theodore Christianson, the Republican candidate for governor, offered the citizens of Minnesota a plan of reduced taxation and lower cost of government in a speech in Madison, Minn. (Christianson would become the 21st Governor of Minnesota from 1/6/25 to 1/6/31.)
  • Citizens and tourists are reminded to be alert as pickpockets and sneak thieves are at it again, particularly at the Northwestern train depot. The other day, a visiting physician had $50 removed from his coat pocket.
