Derrick Malone rushed for 215 yards to lead Rochester Century to a 16-7 upset of Mayo in high school football before a crowd of over 3,000 at Century High School Stadium. This was Century's first varsity win in the school's second year. The previous season, Century lost 58-0 to Mayo.
