AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The 27-year-old man accused of murdering a woman in her own driveway was found guilty by an Akron jury Monday.

Court officials say Antonio Miller was found guilty in the 2022 death of 50-year-old Tina Case.

Charges include aggravated murder, two counts of murder and felonious assault, all with gun specifications, court records show.

Miller pled not guilty in October 2022 and his bond was set at $1 million.

Akron police and the U.S. Marshals arrested Antonio Miller at a home in the 500 block of Rosyln Ave. on Sept. 16, 2022.

Case was inside her vehicle on April 7, 2022 when she was shot multiple times around 10:35 p.m.

Court officials say Miller had dated Case's daughter before the shooting, but the two had broken up after 5 years of an on-and-off relationship.

Danielle Case, Tina's daughter, told 19 News she believes her mom was not the intended target.

Danielle said she dated Miller for years and broke up with him three days before the murder. She also added that Miller 'struggled' with the breakup.

"To talk about her is very difficult and hard, but we got her justice and I can't wait for trial," said Danielle.

Miller is scheduled to be sentenced Monday, October 28 at 10 a.m.
