APS, CNM, UNM announce 2-hour delays

Nov. 6—Albuquerque Public Schools and local higher education institutions announced a two-hour delay on Thursday in response to the winter storm warning that is in effect until Friday.

A. Montoya Elementary School, San Antonito Elementary School, Roosevelt Middle School and eastern mountain students attending Manzano High School. Manzano High School students living in Albuquerque, however, are expected to adhere to the two-hour delay.

Zero-hour activities and general education Pre-K therapies have been canceled. Classes in the Career Enrichment Center have been cancelled, while the Early College Academy will run from 10:40 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

APS employees are expected to report for work and the district is allowing up to a two-hour delay for their arrival.
