Big rig involved in fatal wreck on Weedpatch Highway: CHP

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — One person is dead after a traffic collision occurred north of Lamont on Wednesday night, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information page.

California Highway Patrol officers were on the scene of a fatal wreck Wednesday night, involving a SUV and a semi-truck hauling a cylinder container. The crash occurred on Weedpatch Highway and E. Fairview Road, according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information page.

CHP officers are investigating this wreck.
