THROOP - Bonnie D. (Anderson) Capone, 77, of Throop, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, September 21,2024 in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late, Eugene and Julia (Pilipczak) Anderson and had been an area life resident. Bonnie was a very devout Catholic and communicant of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Bonnie also loved sunbathing, taking an occasional trip to one of the area casino's and following her beloved New York Yankees. Above everything, she cherished all the special times spent with her family. She will be sadly missed by all of them.

She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ronald L. Capone Sr.; two children, beloved daughter, Stephanie Ladisiar, caregiver and beloved son, Ronald L. Capone Jr.; three grandchildren, Danny Ladisiar, Kaylee Ladisiar (Maria Ramos), Cody Ladisiar; nine great-grandchildren, Rosalys, Emma, Kaylynn, Lilly, Gavin, Olivia, Jayce, Rain, Elannah; three siblings, Ronald ( Sharon) Anderson, Donna Caraway, Sharon (Neil) Stevens; two sisters-in-law, Lorraine McDonough, Joanne Young; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and beloved canine friend, Molly.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was also predeceased by six siblings, Julia Anderson, Robert Anderson, Donald Anderson, Stephen Andersen, Stella Lillie, Nancy Stevens.

Calling hours are this Wednesday, September 25th from 4 to 6 pm in Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St. Bonnie's Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, September 26th at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bonnie's memory to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Golisano Children's Hospital.

A very special thank you to the Throop Volunteer Fire department and Dr. Heather Wasileski for their exceptional care shown to Bonnie during her illness.
